I'm Nic Ellis, the founder of Midwest Legacy Capital and an entrepreneur dedicated to helping business owners achieve their goals and build lasting legacies. Currently pursuing my education at Saint Louis University, I am combining academic learning with real-world experience to build a career in mergers and acquisitions.
My entrepreneurial journey began with growing a business that achieved a 12x return in just two years, reinforcing my understanding of strategy, resilience, and the importance of creating real value. Early professional experience in the legal field allowed me to build meaningful relationships and gain firsthand insight into business operations. Through this, I connected with a mentor who introduced me to the complexities of M&A, strengthening my passion for helping business owners navigate transitions while preserving their vision.

Currently studying Finance and Entrepreneurship at Saint Louis University, I blend classroom knowledge with hands-on experience—whether building financial models, analyzing deals, or working directly with clients.
